The Sacrament of Reconciliation (also known as Penance or Confession) is one of the most unique and beautiful aspects of Catholicism. Jesus Christ, in His abundant love and mercy, established the Sacrament of Confession, so that we as sinners can obtain forgiveness for our sins and reconcile with God and the Church. The sacrament “washes us clean,” and renews us in Christ. (from catholicscomehome.org)
The sacrament of Reconciliation is available at Our Lady of the Snows every Saturday from 4:00-5:00 p.m. or by appointment. Children enrolled in the second year of our Sacramental Preparation Program will receive their First Reconciliation before making their First Holy Communion. If you would like to enroll your child in Our Lady of the Snows’ Sacramental Preparation Program, please contact the parish office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 208-622-3432.
